Itinerary Details |
|
Day 1 :- London – Switzerland: Zurich – Rhine
Falls |
Meet your Tour Manager at London airport for the
flight to Zurich. On arrival we clear customs and
immigration and proceed to Zurich city for our
panoramic tour. We then visit the majestic Rhine
Falls at Schaffhausen. Later we check into our
hotel. |
Day 2 :- Switzerland: Mount Titlis – Lucerne |
Driving through the Swiss alpine region and the
winding mountain roads to the valley of Engelberg,
we start our ascent to board the world’s first
revolving cable car, reaching the peak of 10,000
feet and the highest viewpoint in central
Switzerland (weather permitting). Visit the Glacier
Grotto or enjoy a breathtaking panorama from the sun
terrace. In the afternoon, we begin our descent,
passing the glaciers and thawing ice, which create
majestic waterfalls. We then visit the town of
Lucerne, to see the Chapel Bridge and the Lion
Monument. Late evening return to the hotel. |
Day 3 :- Switzerland: Trummelbach Falls –
Jungfraujoch - Interlaken |
After breakfast, the day is at leisure. Or join us
for a full day optional tour. We first drive to the
town of Interlaken, the scene of many “Bollywood”
films. From there a short drive brings us to
Lauterbrunnen, where we visit the Trummelbach Falls,
the only accessible, mountain-interior glacier
waterfalls in Europe. Later board the train for the
scenic journey to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, the
highest railway station in Europe (weather
permitting). Visit the Ice Palace with ice
sculptures or enjoy the panoramic views from the
Sphinx Terrace. Early evening we begin our descent
and return to our hotel. |
Day 4
:- Switzerland: Mount Schilthorn – London |
This
morning we check out from the hotel and drive to
Lauterbrunnen, where we begin our journey by cable car
to reach the summit of Mount Schilthorn at 2970 m
(weather permitting). Enjoy the spectacular view of
Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, and numerous other summits
from the terrace. Or, follow the tracks of James Bond
– Mount Schilthorn was the location for thrilling
action scenes in the 007 Movie "On Her Majesty's
Secret Service". You also have the opportunity to
enjoy a delicious meal at the world's first revolving
restaurant, Piz Gloria. Later, we return to the base
station by cable car, and proceed to the airport for
the return flight to London, where the tour ends, and
its time to say farewell to all the friends you have
made on tour. |
|
